Beth Pavlis, 63, died on November 2, 2016, after a brief illness. She was born in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, on November 26, 1953, to Sophie (Lekas) and James Pavlis. After graduating from Fitchburg High School, class of 1971, Beth traveled extensively throughout the United States and attended Arizona State University. When she moved back to the East Coast, she took a job in the business office at what was then Leominster Hospital. She held that job, a job she thoroughly enjoyed, for over thirty years. Beth was a gregarious and big-hearted woman who loved her parents, friends, co-workers and the New England Patriots. She took pride in her home in Leominster and her “camp” in Hubbardston. When she wasn’t prowling the aisles at Home Goods or T.J. Maxx, she was nurturing her friendships. Recently, she had expanded her circle of caring to the parents of her friends by providing several of them with home health-care services. Wherever Beth went, whomever Beth touched, love and laughter followed. She will be remembered for her enthusiasm for life, her generosity of spirit and her panache. She will be missed.
