Bernice Buteau Laroche

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 29, at 26 Gatehouse Rd., Westminster, MA 01473 from 1-4pm. Donations in Bernice’s memory may be mailed or left at the home.



Westminster – Bernice M. (LaRoche) Buteau, 62, of Westminster, died October 7, 2016 in her home. Bernice was born in Fitchburg on August 29, 1954. She was the daughter of the late Bernard and Elizabeth LaRoche. She graduated from Fitchburg High in 1972. Everyone called her Lou. Lou was full of life, she had a fun personality. She could put a smile on anyone’s face. Lou was witty, daring, and funny. She was full of love, and was like a mother to almost everyone she met. Lou will be sadly missed. Our hearts are broken. She leaves her only daughter, April M. Buteau of Fitchburg. April loved her mother very deeply, she was the best friend she ever had. Lou also leaves her fiancé Darrell Kinney of Westminster; her daughter in law, Christy Allain of Fitchburg, and her sister, Debra Landry of Gardner.
