Barbara A. Ouellette

Barbara Ann Ouellette (Fors) 86, of Ashby, Massachusetts passed away peacefully on September 12, 2024. Born on May 7, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Mildred (Bennett) Fors. Barbara was known for her strong “sisu” a Finnish term for strength of will, determination, and resilience. Traits that defined her throughout her life. She was legendary for her generous spirit, especially towards her grandchildren and great-grandchildren

She is survived by her son Gary (Nicole) Ouellette of Ashburnham, MA, 2 daughters Brenda (Frank) Bangrazi of Ashby, MA, who took exceptional care of her during her final days and Pamela (Brian) Sumner of Ashburnham, MA. Barbara was the proud grandmother to five grandsons and four granddaughters.: Frank (Shea) Bangrazi Jr. Marco(Becca) Bangrazi, Brian Sumner Jr, Maxwell Sumner, Eric Ouellette, Kaitlyn Mitchell, Kim Clark, Courtney Clark, and Lauren Ouellette. She was blessed to see her family expand with four great-grandchildren, Hannah Mitchell, Maggie Mitchell, Quinn Vallee and Beckett Valle.

Barbara is also survived by her brothers, Philip Fors and Rodney Fors both of Ashby, MA

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Emile “Jack” Ouellette; her daughter, Sherry Clark, her son-in-law David Clark and her brothers, Richard, Kenneth, Ronald, David, Paul and Brian Fors.

Throughout her life, Barbara found joy in simple pleasures. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crafting, working on puzzles and bird watching. Her love for sports also brought her much excitement and joy, sharing moments with family and friends during games.

In accordance with her wishes services will be private.
