The funeral will be held from Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg, on Tuesday, April 7, with a Mass in Saint Joseph Church, 49 Woodland St., Fitchburg at 10:00 am. Burial will be held privately in the MA Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Monday, April 6, from 5-7 pm in the funeral home.



OBITUARY Lunenburg – Barbara J. (German) LeBlanc, 66, of Lunenburg died Wednesday, April 1, 2015 in Leominster Hospital. Barbara was born in Sydney, New York on January 30, 1949, a daughter of the late Floyd and Marjorie (Ketchum) German. For many years she worked for the Independent Lock Co. and later for the Laundromat in Cleghorn. Barbara also worked for Clear Shield Plastic in Leominster. Along with her husband Daniel, she loved to travel to Hawaii and go on Caribbean cruises. Together they loved riding motorcycles and belonged to the American Harley Association in Leominster. Barbara’s husband is a member of the Friend of Bills, and she made many friends in that community as well. She leaves her husband of 46 years, Daniel LeBlanc of Luneburg; her precious dog Angel; siblings, Ruth Philpott and husband Alan of Selkirk, NY, Shirley Ulrich of Lunenburg, Nancy Peaks of Cortland, NY, John Ulrich of FL, Robert Germain and wife Donna of Endicott, NY; sisters in law, Doris LaQuire of Fitchburg, Theresa Fricker of Leominster, Rita Roberts-Walsh of Gardner, Joanna Babineau of Fitchburg; many nieces and nephews. Barbara was predeceased by her brother Charles Ulrich.
