Funeral Services will be held from 10am-12:30pm in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Thursday, December 29, 2022. Burial will immediately follow at the MA Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon at 1pm.
Anthony H. Silva, 56, of Quincy, formerly of Fitchburg, passed away on December 12, 2022.
Anthony was born in Rotterdam, Netherlands on October 19, 1966. He was the son of Hector and Yvonne Silva. Anthony served proudly in the United States – and bravely fought during the Gulf War in Kuwait. After dedicating 13 years of service, he left as a decorated veteran with several medals and service ribbons. Not only did Anthony dedicate his time to the US forces, but he also built a career and many long-standing friendships at Vogue Wallcoverings in Fitchburg.
In his final years, Anthony dedicated his time and love to many passions, traveling and spending time with the Last Chance Clean & Sober MA Motorcycle Club. Recently – the group took a cross country bike trip which was a dream come true for Anthony. Not only was bike riding his passion, but also enjoying Broadway shows, going to movies, and all aspects of his life. Above all, near and dear to his heart was spending time with his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
The loved ones he leaves behind to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 31 years Amelia Silva, loving daughter Natalia Silva, his mother Yvonne Silva and partner Bruce Williams, Dinah Starr, three sisters, Diana (Spouse Alan Belanger), Natalia (husband Dan Falter), and Angela Silva. His ‘brother’ Al Rolle; his niece Alexandria and Josh Melanson and nephews Anthony and Jonas. Extended family Sammy and Sabrina Velez, along with a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Hector Silva and niece Christina De’Bardeleben.
