The funeral will be held from the Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Thursday, October 15, with a Mass in Saint Francis Church, 63 Sheridan St., Fitchburg at 10am. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 14, from 4-7pm in the funeral home.
Fitchburg – Angel Guzman, Jr., 23, of Fitchburg, died Thursday, October 8, 2015 in UMass Medical Center from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Angel was born on June 27, 1992, a son of Angel Guzman, Sr. and Maria (Rodriguez) Guzman. Growing up, Angel enjoyed playing basketball, football, and soccer. He was a 2010 graduate of Fitchburg High School. Angel loved to Jet Ski at the beach, ride four wheelers, dirt bikes, and motorcycles. He enjoyed snowboarding in the winter with his cousin and god brother, Emery. He was a wonderful and loving father, who looked forward to taking his children to Chuck E. Cheese and various water parks.
He leaves his parents, Angel Guzman, Sr. and his wife Maria of Fitchburg; his sister, Angie Marie Moux and her husband Raymond of Fitchburg; his son, Yaniel Angel Guzman of Fitchburg; daughter, Anyelisse Guzman of Fitchburg; girlfriend and mother of his daughter, Ivelisse Santiago of Fitchburg; nieces, Anaya and Jeweliana Moux of Fitchburg; many aunts, uncles, and cousins, including his godmother, Lucy Guzman of New Ipswich, NH.
