Andrew A. Russo, 75 passed away Sunday September 24, 2017 at the Fitchburg Healthcare Center, after a long battle with cancer.
He was the son of the late Theodore and Palma (Imprescia) Russo.
He is survived by a son Andrew Jantz his wife Joan; grandsons, Thomas and John of Arlington, Ma; his brother Jeffrey his wife Lucy and niece Palma, of Melbourne Beach Florida.
He was predeceased by his wife Kristine, son Anthony and brother Philip.
Andrew was born in Fitchburg August 9, 1942. He attended Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville, Georgia. He attended Fitchburg State University, graduating with a Masters in Education.
He taught at Miami Lakes Jr. High, Kennett High School in North Conway, N.H, and retired from Montachusett Vocational Technical School in Fitchburg in 2005.
The family would like to thank the 2nd floor staff and Hospice at the Fitchburg Healthcare Center.
