Calling hours will be held in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Thursday, November 16, from 9-10:30am. The funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Thursday in Saint Joseph Church, Fitchburg. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284 in Alice’s name.
Leominster – Alice I. (Jeffrey) Boudreau, 89, of Leominster, passed away peacefully on November 13, in The Highlands.
Alice was born in Fitchburg on May 16, 1928, a daughter of the late Raymond and Auore (Bourgault) Jeffrey. For several years she worked at the Foster Grant Company. Once her family grew, they were blessed to have their mom as a homemaker, a job she loved. Nothing was more important to Alice than her family. She especially treasured time spent with her grandchildren.
Alice loved to travel with her family and take day trips and long drives with her husband to Maine and New Hampshire. She also loved to dine out with family and friends.
She was a faithful and lifelong parishioner of Saint Joseph Church in Fitchburg.
She leaves her three beloved daughters, Denise McCarthy of Oregon, Janet Sequeira of Spencer, and Susan DeNuzzio and husband Bill of Leominster; grandchildren, Erin Spears, Ryan and Vincent McCarthy, Allison and Amy Sequeira, Billy DeNuzzio and wife Nicole, Cristina Shattuck and husband Seth, and Marco DeNuzzio; many great grandchildren; a sister, Bertha LaVoie, and several nieces and nephews.
Alice was predeceased by her husband Robert “Bob” Boudreau in 2014, as well as her son in law James McCarthy. She was also predeceased by her siblings, George and Raymond Jeffrey, Rita Gamache, and Eva Kroeter.
