Calling hours will be held in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Tuesday, March 15, from 9:00-11:00am. The funeral Mass will be held in Saint Anna’s Church in Leominster at 11:30am. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery in Fitchburg.
Alice D. (LeBlanc) Quinn, 100, of Lunenburg, formerly of Fitchburg and Westminster, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family.
Alice was born in Moncton, NB, Canada, a daughter of the late Hector and Amelia (Boudreau) LeBlanc. After the passing of her father, her family moved to Fitchburg in 1927, where she was raised by her step father Jules Boudreau.
Alice worked evenings at the Foster Grant Company as an assembler. After retiring, she went to work in food service at Burbank Hospital, until fully retiring. Alice loved to piece together and frame large puzzles and was a talented knitter.
She is survived by her two daughters, Kathy Comeau and husband Wayne of Lunenburg, with whom she lived; Judith LeBlanc and husband David of Polk City, FL; four grandchildren, David LeBlanc, Jr., Michael LeBlanc, Jeffrey LeBlanc, Christopher Comeau; 11 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; siblings, Annette Brunelle of Westminster and Ronald Boudreau of Salisbury; several nieces and nephews.
Alice was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Thomas Quinn in 2006 as well as 8 siblings. Alice’s family would like to thank her longtime caregiver Linda as well as the Summit Eldercare for all that they have done for her, their constant support was much appreciated.
